Hiall. sorry to revive an old thread. my mazda 6 is throwing the P0340 code and the tacho is eratic. it is going higher than the actual RPM then suddenly drops to 0, car is running routh . i replaced the sensor but no change. if i clear the code it just comes back after 30 seconds. any ideas ?
