GTA 4 does not start. Goes into black screen and crashes after downgrade. So I bought GTA 4 for 6 Euros on Steam and I decided to downgrade the game to 1.0.7.0 . Now all I get is a black screen that lasts for 10-30 seconds and the game crashes. I did an upgrade to 1.0.8.0 (it does the same issue) and went back to 7 and nothing fixed this issue.

GTA IV Infinite Loading Screen After Using Downgrader. I recently attempted at using the automatic downgrader to downgrade GTA IV so I can mod it. hi a bit late but I have complete edition, and I was wondering if after I download the necessary things, will mods that are meant for GTA IV only (so not TBOGT OR TLAD) be compatible? (for example mods that add new structures or buildings into the game or map changes, performance fixes etc.)
