Master Rank Assignments are story Quests in Monster Hunter World Iceborne (MHW). Master Rank Assignments are only available to players who own the Iceborne Expansion. Players will need to complete these quest to progress the story and increase their Master Rank (MR3). All assignments have a 50 minutes time limit and the "Faint 3 times" failure

This is a list of all the base game endemic life that can be captured using the Capture Net and Fishing Rod. (For a list that includes Iceborne endemic life click here) The cactuars are part of a collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV. The nekker is part of a collaboration with The Witcher III. Catching every species of endemic life, including great sized fish, unlocks the "Wild, Wild, Wildlife6 Flagship Monsters have been Fanged Beasts : 1 from the main series: Gammoth. 5 from Frontier: Kamu Orugaron, Nono Orugaron, Gogomoa, Lolo Gougarf, and Ray Gougarf. 4 Flagship Monsters have been Leviathans : 2 from the main series: Lagiacrus and Mizutsune. 2 from Frontier: Kuarusepusu and Baruragaru.
A total of 94 monsters are in the game; 23 Small monsters and 71 Large monsters. 20 returning monsters were added in Iceborne; 2 Small monsters and 18 Large monsters. Returning 1st Generation monsters are Fatalis, Gold Rathian, Silver Rathalos and Scarred Yian Garuga. Fatalis was added in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne's fifth title update. Returning 2nd Generation monsters are AntekaAlmudron is a new addition to Monster Hunter Rise and has a high threat level of seven.
